Fast Bikes Too

• While most of the bikes rolling out of the TATI workshop of late are some variety of practical winter commuter, it feels good to change it up once in a while. Witness triathlete J's custom titanium time trial ride:

  

  Setting him up on the trainer the other day, it was immediately clear that the frame fits like a glove. Let's hope that the 3-2-5 cuts enough road buzz to enable years of high mileage training and racing. The frame has a special matte-finish powder coat, with the rear triangle left bare, to show off the brushed ti finish. Elsewhere, carbon rules the day: in the form of aero seatpost, integrated stem/bars/extensions/levers, finished off with a gently raked road racing fork. The drivetrain is a mix of Dura-Ace, SRAM Rival, and Force. The Neuvation wheels are certainly lovely, but those logos will need to be removed, but the somewhat loud Schwalbe Ultremo labeling will remain, as it actually looks quite nice withe the black-on-grey scheme.
