And given how little time there seems to be these days for things related to bicycles, perhaps this is a good thing, because it's forced some focus onto the tactical planning for 2010.
The team will be headed into its third season. The crew will still me motley, though a little larger, and a little greyer, and a little faster than before. But we'll still look good.
The shop will for the first time in a long time offer some affordable and very classy city bicycles for everyday use starting at $400.
The custom frame program is changing up a bit. In a bit of a first, a few of the more popular steel and titanium models will be available in stock sizes. They'll cost a little less, and arrive much more quickly. And best of all, TATI has a new powder coating partner, who promises ten day turnaround on all work! I'll be providing more details on the custom program soon.
We're bringing back some old favorites like Tubus, Makino, Spokepuncher and Shaun Deller... and adding some new faces: Blue Lug, Schmidt, Velo Orange, Ostrich, Kinlin, AX Lightness, Outlier, and mer.
Best of all, the evening mechanical classes will be starting up again in January, and the shop will have some regular hours (posted here) throughout the winter.
