Phil is building a very odd cyclocross bike. The frame is a low bottom bracket cross geometry rig, constructed mainly from double butted cromo and short chainstays. It has disc tabs and a bizarre powder coat job involving chunky gold glitter. It will be accented in brass (see fenders above) and gold, and used mainly for four season commuting. At least until the 2009 Chicago Cyclocross Cup, that is.
It's a good thing the KCNC account is set up, because now we know how to finish the thing.
