Cream Ice Bike

• This is K's cream four season commuter. Well, at least for now it is. This lovely single speed do-it-all bike is about to undergo some major surgery this weekend. More on that later. For the time being, here we have a stable (regal?) double butted wide clearance frameset with slack angles and a low bottom bracket. Geared at 46x18T, it's ideal for a fit Chicago commuter like K. It's accessorized with a Nitto front rack, powder coated to match the frame; handmade wooden fenders; honey Brooks B17 saddle; and Nitto moustache bars.

  The next version of the cream machine will look virtually identical, but function quite differently. We are replacing the frame with a triple butted titanium all-rounder setup, dropping over 500g. The new frame is also cream, but will feature a derailleur hanger for life as a future long distance tourer. It will have a Nitto rear rack powder coated to match the front. The drivetrain will be White Industries' innovative four speed ENO system. And best of all, it will feature the very first TATI-designed carbon fiber light mount specially suited to Nitto front racks!
