FT's Ti Roadie

• FT's titanium roadie has been in the works for many weeks now. A season spent thinking and designing is finally coming to fruition, with plenty of time to spare before spring 2009, when it will make the rounds both training and racing for Team TATI. The color scheme is top secret, so all I will point out are its beautiful bones: ultralight custom butted tubeset, gently curved seatstays, and massive aero downtube. This is a crit bike that will be comfortable enough for fast centuries and all the training kilometers FT can take.

  Of course, it will be Campagnolo equipped -- but beyond that, we still have some work to do with the spec. Much will be determined by the frame's unique chromatic treatment. FT missed much of the season due to some pretty bad luck, but I think this lucky charm will inspire him to great things next year. There's nothing like that first custom roadie to bring out the best in a young rider!
