"And this TATI... phenomenon. I mean, I just love it. Here we have these kids from Chicago. Students. Racing in retro wool kits. The stripes. The orange. The knickers. They've got ties on. And they're using team tactics in the citizens races. I mean, they're kicking it old school, and they're winning and having a lot of fun, apparently, while doing it."
And later...
"So you know you have the bug... you know you have the fever... when you're doubling. When you're doubling and racing above your category. It looks like the entire TATI citizen's and women's fields have registered for this 4s race. These kids are having a great time, and we're happy to have them."
And when Tim goes off the front in the M50+ race:
"Now what's this? We have Tim Belton of Team TATI off the front... way off the front. Is this the new TATI tactic? It seemed to mostly work for Brian Hague."
As Brian was racing 4s...
"And Brian Hague has caught the field. He's lapped them and is in the field, and doesn't seem to be slowing up. Do you think he'll sit in? I don't think so. I think he's going to attack again."
A little later...
"He's at the front of the pack now, and has been towing the field for three laps. It's even strung out a little bit. His race is actually done, but oh! I think he's going to, what the heck, throw one more lap in there, just for kicks."
